Du bureau de Poste à un poste d'observation des mutations rurales

Abstract:
An ethnographie research, joined up, for three years, with the practise of letter carrying in a valley of Pyrénées, allowed to point out the social groups and their mutual pictures. From observation of moments of collective life and interdependence has been drawn a typology of villages, that shows the importance of geographic situation. But nowadays, the stronger and stronger attachment for aesthetic of the frame of life makes the usual cleavings change and also makes new unions appear. These, joined up with the emergence of new kinds of actors, individual ones as new retired people and collective ones, as the organizations for rebirth of local culture, can give rise to new dynamics where the social evolution seemed to be stuck.
