La sociologie rurale de 1950 a 1990

Henri Mendras

Économie rurale, 1990, vol. 200

Abstract: No such discipline as rural sociology did exist in France in 1950. Since thai time, it progressively emerged, in research institutions, and in the university. Nowadays, many specialists, coming from various horizons, are deserving this appellation. The decrease in agricultural population, and the new importance of environmental problems are going to give it a fresh start.
