La stabilisation du revenu des agriculteurs: un objectif central dans les politiques américaine et européenne

Florence Jacquet, Wallace Tyner and Allan W. Gray

Économie rurale, 2004, vol. 281

Abstract: The main thesis of this paper is that overall support numbers tend to mask what is happening in US and EU support programs. American and European farmers are isolated from most income risk. PSE values are determined largely by the level of world price. Stability is a key government policy objective. The lesson for economists is that analysis that does not fully consider this fundamental income risk issue is incomplete.
