AZ ÉLELMISZERIPARI KKV SZEKTOR VERSENYKÉPESSÉGÉNEK ELEMZÉSE AZ EGYIK LEGELMARADOTTABB EU RÉGIÓBAN

Abstract: Napjainkban számos témában emlegetik a versenyképességet, fenntarthatóságot, regionális integrálódási együttműködéseket, mint nemzetgazdaságok növekedési lehetőségeinek alapjait, amiknek hosszútávon tartható irányvonalai mind regionális, mind uniós és globális dimenziókban egyaránt érdeklődésre tartanak számot. A magyar nemzetgazdaság versenyképessége az EU átlagtól elmarad, amit az is tükröz, hogy az EU 20 legszegényebb régiói közé négy magyar régió is bekerült az elmúlt években. A tanulmány vizsgálatában az említett régiók egyikében, az Észak-magyarországi régióban végzett primer kutatás adatai állnak. Magyarország hagyományosan fontos ágazata az élelmiszeripar, melynek szereplői közül a kkv szektor az elmúlt években jelentős piacvesztést szenvedett el. Az ágazat versenyképességének javítása érdekében ebben a régióban is fontos az élelmiszeripari kkv szektorban lévő növekedési potenciál feltárása és kiaknázása. Ebből adódóan a tanulmány primer és szekunder adatok feldolgozásával tárja fel az Észak-magyarországi élelmiszeripari kkv-k helyzetét, versenyképességét. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Competitiveness, sustainability and cooperation on regional integration are considered as basis for growth in economies, therefore its longer term perspectives are in the focus of interest at regional, EU, as well as global level. The competitiveness of the Hungarian economy falls behind the average of the EU members. Three Hungarian regions are among the poorest regions of the EU20 in the recent years. This study examines primer research data in one of these regions, North Hungary. Food industry is traditionally an important sector in Hungary, within which the SMEs suffered significant loss of markets in the recent decade. In order to improve competitiveness of the food industry it is vital to identify and exploit the growth potential of SMEs. This study explores the competitiveness of SMEs in food processing industry in the North Hungary region based on primary and secondary data.
