Abstract: Tanulmányomban Románia főbb társadalmi és gazdasági makromutatóinak elemzését végzem el. Foglalkozom a 2009-ben begyűrűző válság jellemzőivel, ágazati sajátosságaival és a stabilizációra vonatkozó intézkedésekkel. Kutatómunkámhoz a regionális gazdaságtan területi differenciáltság vizsgálatára alkalmas eszközeit és metodikáját veszem igénybe. Megvizsgálom a területi differenciáltság alakulását az általam egy évtizede számszerűsített romániai periféria-index segítségével. Választ keresek a centrum, a félperiféria és a periféria régiók helyzetében bekövetkező változás okaira. Mivel az egyes társadalmi és gazdasági jellemzők egymással szoros összefüggésben vannak, ezért az ismérvek gazdasági fejlettséget meghatározó kapcsolatrendszerének feltárására törekszem. Az idősoros és a területi adatbázisok segítségével felállított összefüggésekben a GDP, a külföldi tőkebefektetések, a foglalkoztatottság, valamint a népsűrűség és az urbanizáció alakulásának kérdése is jelentős szerepet tölt be. Vizsgálatom alapvető célja a román területi egységek gazdasági fejlettségének az összehasonlítása a centrum-periféria sajátosságok függvényében. ----------------------------------------------------------- I am analysing the principle social and economic macro-indicators of Romania in my study. I am dealing with the characteristic features as well as the sectorial special points of the crisis of 2009 and the measures concerning stability. During my research work I used the measures and methods of regional economy appropriate to study the regional differences. I am examining the development of the territorial differentiation with the help of the Romanian periphery-index defined numerically by me a decade ago. I would like to find some answers to the causes of the changes happened in the situation of the centre, half-periphery, and the periphery regions. Owing to the fact that the social and the economic features are in close relation, I am aiming at exploiting the relation system determining the economic development of criterions. In the correlation set with the help of time and territorial databases, the formation of the GDP, the foreign investments of capital, the employment, and the urbanisation and the density of population plays significant role. The general aim of my analysis is to make a comparison of the economic development level of the Romanian regions in the highlight of the centre-periphery features.
