Abstract: Tanulmányunkban röviden bemutatjuk az Észak-Borsodi LEADER térséget, majd a LEADER vidékfejlesztési programot a térségben megvalósult projektek segítségével. A kistérség 4 mikrotérségből áll, Sajó-, Nádasd- és Hangony-völgye és a Bükki Hegyhát, mely összesen 30 települést foglal magába. Rengeteg lehetőség rejlik ezen a területen mind a természeti adottságok, a kultúra és a közösség tagjai által. A jelenben és a jövőben a turizmus mellett egyaránt nagy szerepe van a közösségi programoknak. A sikeres közösségfejlesztő programok, projektek megvalósulása érdekében a mikrotérségekben elengedhetetlen a civil, az önkormányzati és a vállalkozói szféra együttműködése. A vidékfejlesztést egy olyan szemszögből közelítjük meg, mely főként a helyi közösségek életszínvonalának és identitástudatának fejlesztését mutatja be. A már megvalósított sikeres programok által beigazolódik az, hogy működik az alulról jövő kezdeményezés. A helyiek fő célja, hogy a fiatalok és idősek számára egyaránt megfelelő kínálatot biztosítsanak, szem előtt tartva a generációk közötti párbeszéd kialakítását. Célunk az, hogy bemutassuk a LEADER programok közösségformáló erejét, eredményeit és hatásait. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ In our monograph we would like to present the area of North Borsod and their rural development strategy, based on the LEADER Program and some successful project. The region has 4 micro- region, the Sajó-, Nádasd- and Hangony valley and the Bükki Hegyhát, with 30 villages. The territory has many opportunities thanks to its cultural and environmental heritage and also because of the local community. Not only the touristic projects, but the different kind of community programs has an important role also in the present, as much as in the future. The successful local community building projects need a very strong collaboration between the three – public, civil and business –sectors. We would like to present the rural development in a different aspect: how to develop the quality of life and the identity of the local communities. Through the successfully implemented projects we would like to show how are working the bottom-up initiations. The aim of the local citizens is to create a supply also for the elder and the young people with the collaboration of the generations. Our target is to show the community-forming effect of the LEADER program.
