THE ROLE OF NEW INSTITUTION AND PRICES OF IRRIGATION IN RURAL AREA IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE

Abstract: In that paper, experiences of three East and Central European country: Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary, in establishing new institution and prices in, irrigation system, have been analyzed. First, emerging new agents is identified in that system. Specially, Water Users Associations with new role in integration and water management should be mentioned. It is also analyzed new liberal price system, government subsidies as mush as new forms of financing. Researching experiences of these counties are the very significant for the countries on less level of transition path, including Serbia.
