Revisiting Regulations: Air Pollution and Colonial Urbanism

Ayushi Chauhan

Ecology, Economy and Society - the INSEE Journal, 2022, vol. 05, issue 01

Awadhendra Sharan’s Dust and Smoke clearly deflects from these thematic concerns and explores the history and visualization of smoke as a nuisance in the sprawling colonial cities of Calcutta and Bombay.
