Abstract:
The study reported in this paper shows the variables of education, loan availability to farmers, motivation and awareness of information on improved farm practices and influence to accept to be significantly related to adoption of recommended farm practices. A further analysis using stepwise regression procedure reveals that these variables, taken together explain about 8.2% variability in adoption behaviour.
