Journal of Rural Development/Nongchon-Gyeongje, 2004, vol. 27, issue 3

Abstract: Social Security policies prevent various danger caused in daily life, and improve social welfare by supporting dignity of human. Most of these policies originate in social system of social or national convention. And social security system refers to systemize these policies through assembling them functionally. In this study, I aimed to design an ideal Net System, which consists of Social Insurance Net, Social Assistant Net, Social Service Net, and Social Union Net, through distinguishing each nations' conventional social security policies by function and systemizing them using net method. Using this Social Security Nets-system, it may be possible to compare each nations' socal security policies by function, and through which it is also able to compare the level of each nations' social security. From these, some results can be drawn, which make developing countries induce some ideas to complement the defects of their social security policies.
