Abstract:
The State Rural Development Council (SRDC) movement is both a challenge, and an opportunity because of the very issues that state councils are confronting. These core issues are vital to the future of the nation’s rural communities. This paper discusses three relevant issues in some detail with examples of what state councils do and how they function.
