COMUNIDADES DE PRÁTICAS E SUAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO TECNOLÓGICO DA AGRICULTURA FAMILIAR

Abstract: O objetivo, neste artigo, foi compreender o Programa Redes de Referência da Agricultura familiar a partir da existência e formação de comunidades de prática que integram pequenos produtores de agricultura familiar, pesquisadores do IAPAR e extensionistas da EMATER/PR. O contexto de pesquisa foi o Programa Redes de Referências da Agricultura Familiar (REDES), particularmente a “Rede” existente na região de Londrina, cidade localizada no noroeste do Estado do Paraná. A pesquisa realizada caracteriza-se como qualitativa e descritiva. Foram feitas entrevistas semiestruturadas: com dois pesquisadores do IAPAR, responsáveis pela coordenação do Programa Redes na região de Londrina; com dois extensionistas da EMATER, que trabalham diretamente com os produtores rurais desta região e com cinco pequenos produtores rurais que estão integrados ao Programa “Redes”. Os resultados mostram que houve melhor interação entre os pequenos produtores, os pesquisadores e os extensionistas, dada a constituição de comunidades de prática no âmbito do Programa. As mudanças geraram benefícios aos pequenos produtores, que aumentaram a produtividade das culturas disseminadas na região (bovinocultura de leite e alfafa), melhorando a renda da família e qualidade de vida de seus integrantes. ----- The purpose of this study was to understand the reference networks programme of the family farming from the existence and formation of communities of practice, which integrate small growers, researchers of the IAPAR and extensionists of the EMATER. It was performed in the context of network programme of the family farming found in Londrina, northeast of the State of Paraná, Brazil. The research was characterized as qualitative and descriptive. A semi-structured interview was performed involving two researchers responsible in coordinating the programme at IAPAR, two extensionists of the EMATER who assist rural growers, and five small rural growers integrated in the network programme. According to results, there was great interaction among small growers, researchers and extensionists, given the constitution of these communities of practice within the programme. Changes generated benefits for small growers, who increased milk cattle and alfalfa productivity, improving the family yields and life quality.
