Organizações Rurais e Agroindustriais/Rural and Agro-Industrial Organizations, 2018, vol. 20, issue 2

Abstract: The objective of this study is to analyze the experiences of family agroindustries that are financed by the Project to Combat Rural Poverty - CPPR, under the aspect of social participation, where such reflection is necessary when it refers to the management of rural family enterprises. It is a descriptive research of a case study, using indicators related to social capital as the analytical model to understand the process of participation and cooperation in the collective family enterprises surveyed. Primary data were obtained from the two Agroindustries and their Management Associations and also from residents of the areas by intentional sampling and accessibility. The importance of the participation and mutual cooperation in the potentialization of the collective family enterprise was evident, since they are effective means to achieve good results and successes in interpersonal relations and productive performance, as it was shown by the results.
