Abstract: The article presents the financial situation of the rural households in the context of sustainable development. Analyzed selected indicators characterizing the financial situation of households, in particular, the level of income, the Gini coefficient, and the subjective evaluation of the living situation. The article presents the dynamics of change in the years 2003-2012. The income situation in rural households systematically improving, but still there are significant regional disparities.
