Abstract: The aim of the paper was to present relationship between bank deposits of individual farmers in Poland and economic situation. The value of individual farmers bank deposits increased about 5-times in the span of 2004-2013. The value of deposit with agreed maturity increased by 90%, when the value of overnight deposits increased by 575%, the share of overnight deposits in individual farmer’s total deposits increased from 83% in 2004 to 94% in 2013. In the article Pearson correlation coefficient between value farmer’s bank deposits growth rate and real GDP growth rate was also calculated. There is no significant correlation between overnight farmer’s bank deposits real growth rate and GDP real growth rate, but positive significant correlation between individual farmer’s deposits with agreed maturity real growth rate and GDP real growth rate was observed.
