Abstract:
The objective of the study was to evaluate the social insurance of farmers. The study data were secondary materials of CSO and ASIF concerning insurance for farmers. The data show that since 2006 the number of insured farmers in the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund exceeds the number of beneficiaries. Among the major expenses pension fund, the highest percentage in 2011 accounted for farmers’ pensions (66.1%) and agricultural pension (14.6%). However, among the income pension fund, the highest percentage in 2011 accounted for subsidies from the state budget (91.3%) and premium (8.4%).
