Abstract:
In Poland, in the year 2010 compared to 2002 increased both the number of tractors (about 7%), and the number of tractors per 100 hectares of agricultural land (about 17%), but decreased about 15% of the agricultural area per one tractor. The specificity of the Polish agriculture indicates, that equipping agriculture with tractors was and is regionally diverse. The aim of the study was to assess the status and trends of changes in equipping farms in Poland with tractors in spatial terms. There was used method of vectors’ elimination to divide provinces into subsets, that are characterized by a relatively low degree of differentiation of structure of the number of tractors in agriculture by area groups of agricultural land. The estimated coefficients of concentration allowed to assess uniformity of distribution of phenomenon by type.
