Abstract: The paper compares the possibilities of supporting tourism projects (agro-tourism and rural tourism) under the Rural Development Programs in 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. Moreover, selected effects of the EU support to agro-tourism and rural tourism were presented, mainly under the measures: 311. “Diversification into non-agricultural activities” and 312. “Creation and development of micro-enterprises”.
