Abstract: The results of the analysis of the economic efficiency of Polish agri-food enterprises carried out in accordance with the model Du Pont were presented in the paper. The studies included distribution companies in the industries and employment size groups. The results indicate the higher profitability of small enterprises as well as the advantage in financing their business equity. It was also very high diversity of surveyed enterprises.
