Abstract:
The article presents an analysis of the development of organic farming in Poland in spatial and environmental until 2014. The paper analyzes quantitative traits of organic farming such as the number of farms, the size and the agricultural area of the farms. The analysis is based on data GUS, GIJHARS. Organic farming in Poland shows large regional differences, resulting largely from natural conditions. Meaning has also participated legally protected areas in the total area of the region
