Abstract: The aim of the article was to evaluate the diversity of entrepreneurship in rural areas of Zachodniopomorskie province. The analyzed data include the year 2014 and come from Local Data Bank CSO. Data concern economic entities entered into REGON system. For the analysis chosen activities such as tourism, fisheries, forestry, food production and transport. The research shows that entrepreneurship in rural areas of the examined region is diversity, and of particular importance is the development of tourism.
