Abstract:
The aim of the study was to determine the factors influencing the regional diversity of wheat production in Poland. The analysis has shown that the regional diversity of wheat production in Poland is determined by both natural (climate, soil), and organizational and economical conditions. A higher concentration of this species cultivation is observed in the western and northern parts of Poland, which is associated with their level of agricultural culture, a higher intensity of production and agrarian structure. Favorable conditions for wheat production, ensuring its higher yields and better quality, can be found in Dolnośląskie and Opolskie voivodeships. These regions have developed commodity wheat production, which provides larger batches of uniform grains.
