Pozarolnicza działalność gospodarcza na obszarach wiejskich o wysokich walorach przyrodniczych

Abstract: The implementation of a policy of sustainable development requires taking action being aimed at a management of area which his development will guarantee with the possibility of using resources of the natural environment. An evaluation of the state and directions of the development of the non-agricultural business activity is a purpose of this study in rural and urban – rural areas of two districts: Augustów and Hajnówka. The study was conducted based on the analysis of secondary materials from the Central Statistical Office and the Podlasie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Szepietowo, took time range 2011-2014. The results have shown that the district augustowski and hajnowski were dominated areas legally protected by law, including Natura 2000, which is perceived as the barrier of the entrepreneurship development, factor limiting investments and the growth in the economy. Despite this, low figure of service business entities, connected with accommodating and maintaining is worrying. Deficiency in this segment farmhouses may try to fill up.
