Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the level of use of technical means of production on the farm, located in Mazowieckie, specializing in crop production. The analysis was carried out on the basis of data obtained by conducting an interview. Data related to selected machines and tractors that are equipped farm in 2015. In order to determine the reasonableness of the purchase and maintenance of agricultural machinery on the farm made the calculations, using the formula for the calculation of the limit utilizations. Research shows that the least profitable of maintaining a combine harvester, with annual utilization was lower than the use limit (WGR = 405.52 > WR = 375.00). The use of machinery was much higher than the calculated usage limits. All tractors that are equipped farms are used at a level higher than the limit. Their purchase was rational.
