Sieć innowacji w rolnictwie – istota, cele i uwarunkowania

Abstract:
The content of the paper consists of the following issues: essence of innovation networks and conditions of their functioning, basics activities of the innovation network in agriculture and their scope. The aim of the article was to show that innovation networks are a tool to shape the development and structural changes in accordance with the directions of innovation policy. The observations – based on the analysis of relevant literature, selected documents of the EU (including Poland) and the author’s own reflections – confirm this relationship, especially with regard to the preparation of changes, which sets out the following priority areas of innovation networks in agribusiness: increased agricultural productivity, output, and resource efficiency, innovation in support of the bio-based economy, biodiversity, ecosystem services, and soil functionality, innovative products and services for the integrated supply chain and also quality and safety of food.
