Abstract: The artilcle presents the market for microinstallations in Poland, the legal provisions governing instruments of support system prosumer energy and preliminary analysis of the profitability of the installation. In Poland, from 2013 on grows up rapidly the development of microinstallations connected to the energy network. At the end of March 2016 there were about 7,2 thousand with a total power of over 47 MW. Among them, in terms of quantity (94%) and power (80%) strongly dominated photovoltaic power plants. The amended law on renewable energy sources has introduced a new support system for prosumers in the form of discounts. The preliminary analysis of the profitability of PV installations with a power 3 kW in a single family home presented in three variants shows that it is economically advantageous for investors only with additional support investment.
