Abstract:
The subject of public goods in agriculture has become one of the most important and topical issus in recent years. Therefore, this study is an attempt to create a hierarchy of selected public goods provided by agriculture in the assessment of one of the local communities. Empirical studies have been conducted in the third quarter of 2015 years on a representative sample of 100 people living in rural-urban Góra Kalwaria municipalit (purposeful selection). W-Aranowska indicator was created on the basis of empirical data that allowed to create a hierarchy of selected public goods in agriculture. In addition, the average values declared by the respondents were calculated. It was found that waters protectionis the most important public good for the majority of separate groups. In contrast, biodiversity and rural areas vitality turned out to be the least important public goods. However, most of the differences between singled groups was not statistically significant.
