Abstract:
The purpose of this paper was the analysis of the available raw material resources for the agricultural biogas production on a regional basis. The substrates used in biogas production are, among others, animal waste (slurry) and maize for silage. The most suitable voivodships for building a micro biogas plant of 50-100 kWe using maize silage as the only substrate are: dolnośląskie, lubuskie, pomorskie, warmińsko-mazurskie, wielkopolskie and zachodniopomorskie. In the local districts located in the aforementioned voivodships there is also a possibility of building micro biogas plants producing biogas from substrates such as: maize silage (70%) and slurry (30%).
