Abstract:
The paper presents both the tasks and the orientation of local governments within districts aimed at improving the competence of the community. The study explores the local community perceptions of actions aimed at improving competence. In particular, the focus is on the analysis of the PR tool effectiveness in communicating information to the public by local governments. The discussion is based on literature review and results of own survey and informal interviews conducted in two selected districts of Lubuskie voivodship.
