Abstract:
Innovativeness’ problematic aspects are discussed in the elaboration with the special attention to food industry. Important theories of innovativeness are referred to. Key concepts concerning European Union innovativeness’ policy are discussed. A comparison of food industry enterprises’ innovativeness with other economic sectors are made. Areas of innovativeness in the most innovative food industry enterprises in USA are presented.
