Społeczny charakter drobnych gospodarstw rolnych

Abstract: The paper discusses the question of social meaning of small agriculture holdings. The main purpose of the paper was to present basic social roles of small agriculture holdings. Particular attention has been focused on the fact that the society requires the functioning of these entities by reporting demand for goods and services that can be met only by small agricultural holdings. The study focuses attention on such issues as protection against poverty in rural areas, care of members of farmers family and cultural dimension of the functioning of small farms (for example: maintaining the unique rural landscapes). / Synopsis. W opracowaniu poruszony został problem społecznych funkcji drobnych gospodarstw rolnych. Głównym celem artykułu było wskazanie podstawowych zadań o charakterze społecznym pełnionych przez drobne gospodarstwa rolne, przy czym szczególną uwagę skupiono na fakcie, iż to społeczeństwo wpływa na podtrzymywanie funkcjonowania tych podmiotów poprzez zgłaszanie zapotrzebowania na dobra i usługi, które mogą być zaspokajane tylko przez drobne gospodarstwa rolne. W opracowaniu poruszono takie problemy jak: ochrona przed ubóstwem na wsi, opieka nad członkami rodzin rolniczych oraz kulturowo-krajobrazowy wymiar funkcjonowania drobnych gospodarstw rolnych.
