Abstract: The influence of international trade on the growth of GDP has undergone some changes in time. The paper presents national trade between Poland and Russia with a special emphasis on the agro-food trade. The paper includes an estimation of the effects in Polish national income obtained through trade with Russia, including the agro-food trade. / Synopsis. Wpływ handlu zagranicznego na wielkość PKB ma swoje podstawy w teorii ekonomii. Związki te ulegały zmianom w czasie. W opracowaniu przedstawiono wielkości obrotów handlowych pomiędzy Polską a Rosją ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem handlu rolno-spożywczego. Praca zawiera szacunki efektów dochodowych Polski uzyskiwane z handlu z Rosją, w tym z handlu rolno-spożywczego.
