Zrównoważenie środowiskowe versus zrównoważenie ekonomiczne indywidualnych gospodarstw rolnych

Abstract: Polish agriculture must face one of the fundamental dilemmas of development which is the choice of further direction of development. There are two main directions of development, i.e. the industrial and the sustainable model of agriculture. The first model means a higher intensity of farming, the second one takes into consideration the environmental conditions of production. Therefore, the sustainability level of small agricultural holdings, both in the environmental and the economic aspects was determined. / Synopsis. Polskie rolnictwo musi się zmierzyć z jednym z podstawowych dylematów rozwojowych, jakim jest wybór dalszej ścieżki rozwoju. Obecnie rysują się dwie nadrzędne koncepcje dalszego rozwoju rolnictwa, a mianowicie model rolnictwa industrialnego, który silniej akcentuje zwiększanie intensywności gospodarowania zasobami produkcyjnymi w rolnictwie oraz model rolnictwa zrównoważonego, uwzględniający mocniej wymogi środowiskowe i zdrowotne jako warunki brzegowe produkcji. W związku z powyższym podjęto próbę pomiaru zrównoważenia na poziomie mikroekonomicznym, tzn. gospodarstwa rolnego, zarówno w zakresie przyjazności produkcji rolnej dla środowiska, jak i dochodowości.
