Abstract: An analysis based on empirical data for the period 1999-2008 presents the Polish foreign trade in grains and cereal products. Poland is a net importer of grains and a net exporter of highly processed cereal products. The balance of trade in these products is ameliorating for Poland. / Synopsis. W artykule przedstawiono handel zagraniczny ziarnem zbóż i jego produktami w Polsce w latach 1999-2008. Polska tradycyjnie należy do importerów netto ziarna i produktów jego pierwotnego przetwórstwa. Polska jest eksporterem netto wysoko przetworzonych produktów zbożowych i saldo obrotów w tym handlu poprawia się.
