Abstract:
Allocation of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) funds for agricultural sector in the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) is presented. Volume of funds allocated per one farm, 1 hectare of agricultural land and 1 person employed in the analyzed sector is compared. Farmers in the Slovak Republic receive the highest support per one farm, the highest is this support per 1 hectare of agricultural land in Slovenia and in Estonia per 1 person employed. The support in relation to gross value added (GVA) varies from 6,7% in the Czech Republic to 69,2% of GVA in the Slovak Republic. /
