Handel zagraniczny jabłkami w UE w kontekście rosyjskiego embargo

Abstract: The aim of the paper was to determine the quantity and directions of apple trade in the European Union, seen in the context of the Russian embargo. The key driver of the EU external apple trade in years 2004-2013, was growth in the export of Polish apples to Russia. The EU exports decreased and were mainly covered by the countries from the southern hemisphere. Studies showed Poland as a main apple supplier to the Russian market, was generating almost 75% of the EU apple export volume. The embargo resulted in significant drop of Polish prices (22%), as well as the volume of exports, in relation to the previous year. / Synopsis. Celem artykułu było określenie wielkości i kierunków wymiany handlowej jabłkami w krajach Unii Europejskiej w kontekście rosyjskiego embargo. Eksport zewnętrzy jabłek w UE w latach 2004-2013 rósł, przede wszystkim dzięki wzrostowi eksportu polskich jabłek do Rosji. Import zewnętrzy UE obniżał się i realizowany był przede wszystkim z państw półkuli południowej. Badania wykazały, że Polska była głównym dostawcą jabłek na rosyjski rynek z blisko 75% udziałem w wolumenie unijnego eksportu. W wyniku embarga doszło do znacznego obniżenie polskich cen (22%) oraz wolumenu eksportu w stosunku do roku poprzedniego.
