Zasoby naturalne obszarów wiejskich jako determinanty ich rozwoju ekonomicznego

Abstract: In the era of globalization the need to protect the dwindling natural resources of the Earth, aimed at the production of economic good is increasingly recognized. The article assumes that the main resource of rural areas is the soil and the environment as a producer of crops and climate and landscape and the use of them is under the control of the people. The aim of this study is to show the natural resources of rural areas in the world and in Poland, as a basic factor of economic development. The paper presents an analysis of a given problem, based on a review of the world literature and the results of own research, carried out among the inhabitants of rural communities in Podkarpackie Region. The work positively verified research hypothesis which assumes that the best form of protection of natural resources in rural areas is the concept of the green economy, based on ecologically safe agriculture and environmental awareness of all the inhabitants of the rural areas. / Synopsis. W dobie globalizacji coraz częściej dostrzega się potrzebę ochrony kurczących się zasobów naturalnych Ziemi, służących produkcji dóbr ekonomicznych. W artykule przyjęto, że głównymi zasobami obszarów wiejskich jest gleba i jej otoczenie jako producent płodów rolnych oraz klimat i krajobraz, nad użytkowaniem których czuwa człowiek. Celem pracy jest ukazanie zasobów naturalnych obszarów wiejskich na świecie oraz w Polsce, jako podstawowego czynnika determinującego ich rozwój ekonomiczny. Praca przedstawia analizę badanego problemu, opartą na przeglądzie światowej literatury oraz wynikach badań własnych, zrealizowanych wśród mieszkańców gmin wiejskich województwa podkarpackiego. W pracy pozytywnie zweryfikowano hipotezę badawczą, że najlepszą formą ochrony zasobów naturalnych obszarów wiejskich jest koncepcja zielonej gospodarki, oparta na bezpiecznym ekologicznie rolnictwie oraz świadomości środowiskowej wszystkich mieszkańców wsi.
