Abstract:
There were fed 48 bulls with mating of breeds Brahman, Beef master, Charolais and Brangus for 90 days, adding the last 30 days the β-adrenergic zilpaterol hydrochloride and ractopamine hydrochloride. They were divided into 3 groups, the control group, the group added zilpaterol hydrochloride and the group supplemented with ractopamine hydrochloride, each group with 4 replicates and each of the iteration consists of 4 cattle. We evaluated the cost benefit ratio of the main production parameters such as daily food consumption, daily weight gain, feed conversion and carcass yield in each treatment and comparing their results with each other. Based on the results it was concluded that the use of β-adrenergic both technically and economically feasible to fatten cattle corral.
