Abstract:
Since there is little research done on the rural agricultural cluster formation in Mexico, this study is made with the objective of setting strategies to form clusters that promote the development of emerging economies of rural areas. It starts with the conceptual definition of cluster, its benefits and main obstacles. This is a documentary research work, of an exploratory-descriptive type in which it is discusses the advantages of creating clusters and the problem for its implementation, more particularly referred to the agricultural clusters. We proceed to describe the suggested strategies and finally, the scope and limitations of this work are indicated. At the end it is concluded that the outlined strategies are suitable to be implemented in a rural agricultural area, indicating possible future research that could follow up this work.
