RELACIÓN ENTRE LA POBLACIÓN PECUARIA Y EL CONSUMO DE PASTA DE SEMILLAS OLEAGINOSAS EN MÉXICO, 2009 - 2018

Luis Alberto Araujo

Revista Mexicana de Agronegocios, 2021, vol. 48, issue January-June 2021

Abstract: The intensive production of products derived from livestock activities demands increasing amounts of input consumption, in this case of balanced feed for animals destined to produce meat, milk, eggs, wool, etc. One of the inputs used to feed the heads of herds, herds and flocks of livestock species is oilseed paste. This study shows the relationship that has occurred in Mexico during the 2009-2018 period between the growth of the number of heads of the herds, herds and flocks and the consumption of oilseed paste, as well as the behavior of the different components of the demand and supply of said products in relation to the increase in the livestock population of Mexico in the indicated period.
