Abstract:
Mexico is one of the main strawberry exporters, it is only behind countries such as Spain and the United States, these exports have achieved an important economic benefit for the national market, having a 1.4% share of the national GDP. The main objective that this research focuses on is to determine what administrative strategies allow increasing strawberry exports in the Zamora Valley, Michoacán, since Mexican strawberries have had, in the last 10 years, an increase of 62% in exports. The methodology that was implemented was of two types: the first was qualitative, collecting information from secondary sources of federal agencies, mainly INEGI, SAGARPA, SIAP, OEIUDRUS and FAO, the second, is through a survey applied to strawberry producers to know the reality of exportation. The main market for the export of strawberries is the United States, consuming 52% of the production, the state of Michoacán is the main producer of strawberries at the national level with a participation of 58.62%, the main factors that stop producers for their Export is the infrastructure and the ignorance of the required documentation.
