Abstract: The Training Needs Assessment (TNA) is essential for agro-industrial producers as it helps identify key areas for skill development and training, thereby improving the efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of the sector. The TNA promotes sustainable practices and contributes to the economic and social development of rural communities. This research aimed to develop a TNA for agro-industrial producers in the municipality, using a quantitative and descriptive methodology based on a census of producers. The results show a diverse agro-industry that include sectors such as dairy, meat, wheat derivatives, and pecans, among others. However, there are significant gaps in key areas such as strategic planning, trademark registration, accounting systems, and marketing strategies. Although 82.86% implement cost optimization systems and 85.71% use accounting systems, the lack of formal methodologies limits the effectiveness of these practices. Additionally, 62.86% are not registered with chambers of commerce, indicating a lack of awareness about their importance. Another significant finding is that most producers use social media, especially Facebook, to advertise their products, although they lack structured marketing strategies. Moreover, only four companies have the "Chihuahua Market" quality certification, highlighting inequality in access to certifications and standards. The research emphasizes the need for training in areas such as business management, fiscal and accounting practices, marketing, and intellectual property. It is recommended to develop a training plan in collaboration with universities and governmental organizations to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of agro-industrial producers in Saucillo. This assessment lays the groundwork to address the identified gaps and foster the integral development of the local agro-industry.
