Revista Mexicana de Agronegocios, 2026, vol. 58, issue January-June 2026

Abstract: Effective communication is an essential element in work environments, particularly in agricultural sectors where cultural and generational diversity can influence organizational dynamics. The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of workers in a vineyard located in El Sauz, Chihuahua, regarding communication processes, as well as to identify possible cultural barriers and areas for improvement. The research was developed under a mixed descriptive approach. A structured questionnaire was applied to 19 workers during the months of January to March 2025, which consisted of 18 questions distributed in four blocks: sociodemographic profile, communication at work, cultural challenges in communication and proposals for improvement. The results reveal that the majority of workers perceive clear communication with their superiors and claim to receive understandable instructions to perform their tasks. Likewise, a positive disposition towards active listening and team collaboration was identified, although one sector expressed occasional difficulties derived from generational or regional differences. In terms of training, there was a lack of systematic training programs in communication skills, which represents a critical area of opportunity. It is concluded that, although the working environment of the vineyard has a functional communicative base, it is necessary to strengthen mechanisms for inclusion, integrated dialogue and communication
