New Trends in the Development of the Hotel Kragujevac the Example to Protect the UTP "Kragujevac" Case Study

Abstract: Hotel management as business activity is subjected to daily changes in the sense of quality and quantity caused by touristic demands and trends. Hotel management in the city of Kragujevac, in time prior to transition period was based upon public company CTC “Kragujevac” which was reorganized in current terms of property transformation and which has undergone the program restructuring into contemporary hotel system. This case study deals with the expected tendencies in hotel industry of Kragujevac, derived from conducted privatization process of CTC “Kragujevac” into resulting company HTC “Šumarice”. The core of the elaborate is on recognition of future development perspectives of CTC “Kragujevac” coming out as result of property transformation and overall structural changes. Future development direction of HTC “Šumarice” is based upon the strategic leadership which understands continual adjustment of market services to the demands and regularities of the contemporary market as well as the changes in business manner in accordance to touristic market, toward wishes and needs of hotel clients.
