Gordana Mrdak

Ekonomika, Journal for Economic Theory and Practice and Social Issues, 2010, vol. 56, issue 2

Abstract: To understand the transition process is necessary to understand the whole concept of economic and political reforms in the country. Three mutually dependent transition programs include: a change of ownership to privatization, macroeconomic stabilization with liberalization and deregulation, and democratization of political life. None of these tasks cannot be implemented until the complete and others, such as the neglect of one of these programs may discredit the process of democratization and economic transformation.
