Exercise Macroeconomic Goals in the New Economy

Abstract: The paper presents the importance of macroeconomics as a science, the main macroeconomics aggregates and also macroeconomics aims in modern economy. Macroeconomics as economics science is the study of the economy as a whole, it investigates and analyzes the phenomena, relationships, processes, and issues of social economy as a whole and follow whole economic developments of a country. Macroeconomic aggregates are economic sizes in which are summarized (aggregated) results and the resources of the economy of a country. The main aims of macroeconomic policy of each state today can now be reduced to the following objectives: 1 Economic growth, 2. high employment, 3. price stability, 4. balance of payments.
