Abstract:
This paper provides impact of environment on a choice of on organizational structure model. First of all environment and enterprise are defined. Then, interactions between enterprise and environment are stated. Special attention in this paper is paid to impact of environment characteristics on the organizational structure. With growing unpredictable and complexity of the environment, the main issue of management is the question of maintaining an organization capable of keeping up with the changes and challenges of its surroundings. The basic role of management is to achieve the firm s fit to the environment. Environment analysis and determination the influence of external characteristics on the organizational structure are important precondition for organizational performance: efficiency, development, survival.
