Abstract: There have been a significant number of debates concerning external debt, due to its alarming rise in Serbia, which have been of interest to the public. In this paper, we will analyze the issues related to eksternal debt sustainability in Serbia; the analysis aiming at assessing the current state of affairs regarding indebtedness, providing the origins of eksternal debt as well as making a qualitative assessment of eksternal debt management sustainability.
