Abstract:
The importance of keeping a common energy policy of the European Union stems from the fact that the energy sector participates with 10% in the size of its gross domestic product. In addition, the EU importer of energy in an amount of about 50% of its production and therefore the policy of using renewable energy sources imposed on its timeliness. In the European Union there are special benefits and the need for organized use of renewable energy resources. The energy potential of renewable energy the EU is important and is reflected in the utilization of water, sun, wind, wood biomass, and existing geothermal resources. Limited reserves of primary energy are urgent increase use of renewable energy resources in the European Union.
