Price trends in global food markets: challenges for Ukraine

Abstract: The features of modern world agricultural market development and its basic tendencies are exposed, in particular, reasons of world tendency of price increase are indicated. Prospects and role of Ukraine in world trade of agricultural produce are outlined. The possible scenarios of further world agricultural market development are considered and basic factors that will influence the dynamics of agrarian sector and socio-economic development of the country are exposed.
